Steps to Apply

Step One

 
Submit a completed Acupuncture Application (2011-12) form including the one-time non-refundable $100 admission fee to the Continuous Professional Learning office.

Registration fees will not be processed until your application is approved.

Step Two


Once you have been accepted, you will receive a confirmation email indicating that your application was received complete or outlining what documentation is still required. 
 
You can then submit your payment for Medical Acupuncture Level One ($1795) to the Faculty of Extension. A confirmation package and receipt will be issued by University of Alberta Extension outlining any additional information you may need prior to the beginning of the program. 
 
Please keep your receipt for your records. If you have not received communication regarding your application within two weeks of your submission, please contact our MAP Program Coordinator.
 

Step Three

 
If you are not currently licensed to practice in Alberta, please contact the appropriate Professional College in Alberta and apply to their Courtesy Register. The lead instructor will provide a letter of recommendation after a complete review of the submitted application.
