Description
The Urban Program is a series of seminars offered to Family Practitioners that is customized, targeted and relevant to office practice.
Format includes a combination of lectures, problem-based learning methods, case presentations, interactivity & workshops.
Course Objectives
- Identify areas for professional growth and development.
- Measure improvements for patient care.
- Meet criteria for license renewal.
The program takes place two Wednesday evenings each month and features two different one hour presentations. Sessions start promptly at 7:00 PM and conclude at 9:00 PM.
Registration Fees (including GST)
- Early Bird Registration: $315 Full Year (Now Closed)
- Fee after September 9, 2011: $472.50 Full Year (Now Closed)
- Resident Registration Fee: $105.00 Full Year (Must provide letter from program director stating residency status)
- Fee after January 1, 2012: $288.75 (Attend all sessions from January to April)
- Individual Evening: $47.25 (Choose from any of the 2012 dates. Valid for one 2-hour session)
Accreditation and Study Credits
The Division of CPL at the University of Alberta is fully accredited by Committee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. This program meets the accreditation criteria of College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) and has been accredited for up to 2 MainPro-M1 credits per evening.
Reimbursement of Registration Fees
