If you do not meet this criteria, your program may not be eligible for accreditation. Please contact the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons for clarification at cpd-accreditation@royalcollege.ca.
2. Complete the CPL Accreditation Checklist
3. Review the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons website for Accreditation information, as required.
4. Complete the appropriate Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons Section Application Form.
5. Provide the supporting documentation to be sent with the Application Form. Click here for Sample Forms.

- Needs Assessment results.
- Detailed Program/Course Schedule
- Evaluation Form/Tool
- Budget which includes sources of funding, disbursement of honoraria and expenses.
- Documentation re: Ethical Standards
Section 3
- Copy of needs assessment
- Learning objectives
- Scoring sheet
- Evaluation form
- Copy of the budget
- Copy of the promotional materials
- Copy of the program
6. Provide $500 (plus GST if applicable) payment information. Submissions must be received by our office at least 6 weeks prior to the program date. Late submissions will be considered but will be levied a late fee of ($100). Please note, programs cannot be accredited retroactively.
